When it comes to high tea, and tea drinking  that comes to mind? Most people think of England and their elegant tea service, right? While England as a whole does drink a lot of tea, it’s mostly low quality bagged tea. That’s exactly what tea sommelier, Lisa McDonald, tells us is the wrong way to drink tea. Lisa McDonald is the owner if Teahaus and Eat More Tea in Ann Arbor, Michigan. While working as a consultant in Germany, she decided to take the four year course to become a certified tea sommelier. Now, there are many online degrees and courses for becoming a tea sommelier, but nothing compares to Germany’s strict standards of  training that a tea sommelier must go through.
