National Burger Day…Again

There’s not anything much more American than grilling a hamburger and enjoying some good, juicy burgers with friends. Twitter feeds have lit up today, with the hashtag #NationalHamburgerDay. But then more tweets started to come through about confusion about National Burger Day actually is.

Less than two months from now, we’ll celebrate National Cheeseburger Day. Then we heard May is National Hamburger month. Who’s to say which day, if any, is the correct Burger Holiday. It isn’t as if there is a government agency that regulates these food holidays. Personally, we believe the food industry is becoming the new Hallmark of holidays, as a way to send the masses out to restaurants. But the love of a good burger is so great, we’ll gladly celebrate all three holidays!
